Feeder module

The Feeder module (07FG) provides a powerful tool to study feeding behavior and food reward in rodents. The module provides two types of food dispensing:

• A food gate that is controlled with a rotating wheel to allow access to normal rodent food pellets.
• A food dispenser that dispenses special food pellets (each 14mg for mice and 45mg for rats).

The Feeder module provides two control methods that can be used with either type of food dispensing:

• Timer-based, allowing the user to schedule the time of food availability
• Self-administration, either by nosepoke or lever press
